Help
Clear information makes childcare easier.
Starting daycare comes with questions. Our goal is to communicate clearly with families about the program, health procedures, daily expectations, safety practices and policies that affect your child.
Parents are always encouraged to ask questions and let our team know about changes in their child's health, routine or needs.
Keep us informed.
Parents and guardians should let the daycare know promptly about changes in their child's health, allergies or medication needs.
Good communication helps our educators provide appropriate and consistent care.
Helpful things to know.
These are some of the key policies and practices families should be familiar with.

When your child isn't feeling well.

Families receive information about these procedures during enrolment and are encouraged to communicate health changes promptly.
What parents should know
Safe from drop-off to pick-up.
Clear arrival and departure procedures help keep children safe.
Safe release matters.
Central Kids uses established procedures for releasing children at the end of the day.
If an authorized person appears unable to provide safe care, staff may contact the parent or guardian and seek an alternate authorized person in accordance with the daycare's safe-release policy.
These procedures exist for one reason: protecting the child.
Helping children learn better choices.
Behaviour guidance at Central Kids focuses on teaching, redirection and helping children learn positive ways to respond to situations.
Our goal is to support children in developing self-control, problem-solving skills and healthy relationships with others.
Keeping payments simple.
Central Kids requires timely payment of childcare fees to support the ongoing operation of the daycare.
Families will receive the applicable fee information and payment arrangements as part of the enrolment process.
Payment information
Communication goes both ways.
We want families to know what is happening and to feel comfortable communicating with our team.

Important information may be shared through email, newsletters, the daycare website or the daycare's communication platform.
